One of the city’s suburban hot spots is giving us another reason to visit, with Ferg’s Stepney confirming the addition of a gin distillery.
All distilling production for Threefold Distilling will be taken place in-house, beginning with the Aromatic Gin.
Ferg’s Stepney opened its doors in April of last year, with the intention of becoming a creative hub of sorts, a place for brands to come together, and visitors to enjoy quality beverages in the space.
Co-founders, winemakers, and cousins Jordan Hein and Bevan Ferguson say, “We are proud to announce our collaboration with Threefold Distilling. Ferg’s will now be the home cellar door for Moorak Wines, Massey Wines and Threefold Distilling, along with a focus on other small production winemakers and brewers in rotation.”
Casual tastings will be available to the general public, along with a new cocktail menu written with the distillers, focusing on the Ferg’s Stepney Dry Gin and the Threefold Aromatic Gin.
With installation currently underway, the distillery opening is anticipated for early February.
You can visit Ferg’s Wednesday – Friday from 3pm until late, and Saturday – Sunday from 12pm until late.
