Bethnal Green Barbershop is keeping a secret.
Outwardly a typical barbershop, the venue is actually home to one of Adelaide’s newest small bars.
The internal fit-out was inspired by Bethnal Green, a London tube station.
“We wanted to offer something different to Adelaide in that we actually wanted to take our guests out of Adelaide,” says Bar Manager Henry Morrison.
Bethnal Green’s cocktail list is said to be “fun and experimental”, designed to further pull guests into the London-esque ambiance of the venue.
The bar stocks over 25 different vodkas from around the world, all of which can be substituted into the cocktails in place of the house vodka, to add a personalised twist.
In keeping with its facade, Bethnal Green is set to run as an operating barbershop on Friday nights.
Bethnal Green is located on Hindley Street, positioned between Ballers Sports Bar and RSQ.
It will be open from 5pm on Thursday and Friday nights, with the intention to open on Sundays over the Summer months.
