Oktoberfest Returns With A New Location This Year

Why pay the expensive price of a European adventure when it’s coming right to Adelaide for you?

The widely popular Oktoberfest has landed itself a new venue in Adelaide for this year’s celebration of all things bratwurst, lederhosen, and German beer.

The new location is set to be at Pinky Flat on War Memorial Drive between the River Torrens and the Adelaide Oval.

Pinky Flat has previously hosted a range of prominent events in Adelaide, including Royal Croquet Club and So Frenchy So Chic.

Oktoberfest is, of course, inspired by the traditional Bavarian-style festivals held in Munich, Germany.

This years Oktoberfest in Pinky Flat will showcase two beer halls, authentic German food stalls, performers, a sideshow alley, silent disco for all you keen dancers and wood chopping — how German.

There will also be an electric mix of entertainment and on stage competitions across throughout the afternoon and evening.

Why pay the expensive price of a European adventure when it’s coming right to Adelaide for you? Oktoberfest will feature many European tasting delights such as a large selection of imported German beer, cider, wine and a selection of other refreshments.

Would it really be Oktoberfest if you didn’t have your Lederhosen costume though? We don’t think so!

Blossom Costumes has teamed up with Oktoberfest and are offering a discount, so you can look as authentic as the German beer that they will have on offer.

This years Oktoberfest is on 12 October. For more information and tickets, click here.
