After more than a year of renovations, the Stockwell Hotel is now celebrating its grand re-opening!
The revamped space has gorgeous stonework, a cosy wood interior, and a new deck complete with a fire pit and a silo bar. The Stockwell has also announced a new chef and of course a new menu, so guests can munch on some new eats while they enjoy the beautiful location.
The new menu has starters such as a cheese plate, harrisima kingfish ceviche, and smoked ham hock croquettes; modern mains such as mushroom ragout and roasted beetroot with chickpeas; pub classics like schnitzels and burgers; and sides and kids dishes.
The pub closed its doors in late 2019 to focus on refurbishments after being sold to new owners, and we’re sure that its loyal patrons are elated to see it back open.

The renovations were initially expected to be completed in late 2020, but there were slight delays.
“The initial plan was to renovate just a couple of areas, but once we got started, we knew that the Stocky had so much more to offer, so we made the decision to undertake a complete restoration of this historic site,” shared the Stockwell Hotel on social media earlier this year.
And of course, the food, wine and beer options will be reimagined to match the new layout and design.
