New & improved Stockwell Hotel opening soon

The much anticipated grand reopening of the Stockwell Hotel is soon approaching, complete with a fire pit and silo bar.

After more than a year of renovations, the Stockwell Hotel will be celebrating its grand re-opening shortly.

The pub closed its doors in late 2019 to focus on refurbishments after being sold to new owners, and we are sure that its loyal patrons will be elated to see it back open.

The renovations were initially expected to be completed in late 2020, but there were slight delays.

“After 18 months of extensive renovations at the Stockwell Hotel, we’re excited to announce that we are nearing the final stages of this significant refurbishment,” shared the Stockwell Hotel on social media late last month.

“The initial plan was to renovate just a couple of areas, but once we got started, we knew that the Stocky had so much more to offer. So we made the decision to undertake a complete restoration of this historic site.”

The renovations include an updated look and feel of the existing sports bar and dining room, as well as a new outdoor area, including an improved deck, fire pit and even a silo bar, perfect for having a bite and some booze outside.

And of course, the food, wine and beer options will be reimagined to match the new layout and design.

While there is no news of the exact date the Stockwell Hotel will reopen, you can keep up to date by checking out their Facebook page.

You can find the Stockwell Hotel at Duck Ponds Rd, Stockwell.
