The chic shopping and dining strip of Prospect Road continues to evolve and Caffe Buondi has become the latest addition to its eclectic mix of cool and casual cafes.
A group of local Adelaide café entrepreneurs, some with over 35 years experience, have banded together to offer Prospect locals great value Italian meals served ‘with love.’ The portion sizes are testimony to that love and you won’t leave Caffe Buondi without feeling satisfied and happy.
Using local produce, Caffe Buondi’s kitchen creates tasty pizzas, pastas, risotto, salads and main meals that will surely satisfy any Italian inspired craving. The specials board holds treasures like spaghetti con vongole, made with fresh SA cockles, and beetroot risotto with king prawns, so you can be sure the kitchen team will make sure there’s always something different and exciting on the menu.
The team have also mastered the art of coffee. It’s little wonder that Caffe Buondi has become very popular, very quickly with locals.
Anton (one of the owners), says the philosophy at Caffe Buondi is simple: ‘we will take care of you’. He quotes an old Italian saying, translated as ‘you’ll swear by love, I shall return for more in just a little while.’ With great service, fabulous food and a family friendly atmosphere, you’ll want to return ‘in just a little while’ too!
Caffe Buondi is at 101-103 Prospect Road (on the corner of Prospect Road and Flora Terrace) and is open from 7 am – 10.30 pm seven days (opens 8 am Sundays).
Unfortunately, they will be closed until Easter Monday but will be open on public holidays from then on.
