Attention foodies, there’s a new restaurant in town, and it sounds incredible.
Lombra is the latest Italian destination from the team behind Bocelli on Hutt Street and Est Ovest on Angas Street, with owner Davide La Scala at the helm.
Lombra will be providing Italian cuisine inspired by the Amalfi Coast & Campania region of Italy. The beverage menu will be reminiscent of the Venetian bar season.
La Scala was approached to start this new venture in West Lakes, cementing his love for Italian cuisine.
“Our team have been looking to bring our exceptional Italian food and hospitality to the western suburbs for some time.” La Scala says.
La Scala’s passion for Italian street food is so apparent with the menu’s emphasis on starters and shared platters.
“I have a passion for starters and now that people are getting more comfortable, we want to encourage people to share food again.” La Scala says.
“Our stylish fit out fits right in on Charles Street, which is looking great as more businesses open up.
“We’ll be serving Italian cuisine inspired by the Amalfi Coast and Campania region of Italy, with
everything from locally roasted coffee to breakfast, lunch, dinner and drinks.” La Scala says.
Signature Lombra dishes include Napoli style pizza, spaghetti vongole and mozzarella in carrozza… that’s a deep-fried mozzarella sandwich.
Their coffee is also locally roasted with a blend that is exclusive to Lombra.
It is also worth noting that they have an amazing Pizza Chef in Fabio Di Verio, Head Chef in Mirko Visconte as well as Patisserie Chef Carlo Cicoria (who makes all of their delicious desserts in house!).
Sitting next to good company with Zayt and Zaatar, neighbour Lombra makes Charles Street in West Lakes the place to be.
Lombra is now open, and you can decide to dine in or takeaway breakfast, lunch and dinner. Feel free to takeaway or dine-in.
