New Japanese restaurant Momoto opens on King William Street with a sushi conveyor and a-la-carte

Chain sushi restaurant, Momoto, opens is doors to their first South Australian location on King William Road, offering a premium Japanese dining experience.

All aboard! A brand-new Sushi conveyor restaurant has rolled into town, and they’re delivering a first-class Japanese dining experience.

Blurring the lines between traditional and modern fusion sushi, Momoto is serving up premium, fresh dishes on a sushi conveyor. This ever-popular relaxed dining style is put into motion at Momoto, making it the perfect place to catch up with friends, family and colleagues, or even for those solo-dining me-times.

They even have date night covered with their modern à la carte and drinks menu. In the new Adelaide location, there are three cocktails on offer. Start with Chilli & Spice, a spicy Margarita with pomegranate and chilli punch. Then the Ruby, a glamorised version of a G&T with Momoto Gin, Cointreau, ruby grapefruit, cucumber, lime, and tonic. Or the Ichigo, a smooth sake with strawberry, saffron and citrus notes.

As for drinks, there are also mocktails, beer, wine, and of course sake.

The food menu is just as exciting. Pick from the conveyor belt or order straight from the menu, the world is your oyster, literally. Oysters are available off the fantastic sashimi menu.

The menu is huge and there are options for everyone. Nigiri is available with all types of toppings. Stick to classic seafood options like salmon and tuna, or try something different like uni sea urchin or squid. There is also an array of non-seafood options, like wagyu beef, spicy chicken and a type of rolled omelette called tamago.

Aside from nigiri, there are takosu soft tacos, baby maki rolls, dragon rolls, hana flowers, gunkan, tempura, and sashimi. Also tempura, almost naked, donburi, udon and Japanese salads.

And no meal is complete without something sweet. Luckily, Momoto has FREE soft-serve ice cream.

As the newest Momoto location, the new restaurant will be the first of its kind outside of the East Coast. Currently, you can find Momoto across two Sydney locations, and one in Brisbane. They will also be heading west, as a restaurant is set to open in Perth.

The vibrant Adelaide location is in the new King’s Lane Complex on King William St, tucked behind Rundle Mall. So if sushi’s your thing, and you’re keen to try somewhere new, Momoto might just be your newest go-to sushi spot.
