To coincide with National Volunteer Week, the team from Piteo Accounting & Advisory have launched their Community Connections program, by partnering with KickStart for Kids, to deliver two Breakfast Club sessions at Keller Road Primary School.

The Breakfast Club, supported by Kickstart for Kids at Keller Road Primary School, is offered Monday to Friday. This is a highly social and successful beginning to the day for those who like to chat over breakfast.

Marco Piteo, Partner, Piteo Accounting & Advisory said he and his team were privileged to be able to support such a worthwhile program. “We are honoured to not only be able to make a financial donation and contribution to KickStart for Kids but more importantly as a team be able to be hands on as volunteers this week and serve up a cooked breakfast for the students and their families,” said Marco Piteo.

“We are an extremely family focused firm with a sense of empathy which has led to us creating our new Community Connections program. Our staff have identified key not for profit organisations and programs that we will support and be involved with through the year. It is about making a difference in some small way to issues that are important to us as a team.”

Ian Steel, Founder, KickStart for Kids understands and appreciates the true value of volunteers and their partners from within the corporate sector. “Support for the not for profit sector in SA is hugely competitive. We are fortunate with the generosity of corporate SA and thank businesses like Piteo Accounting & Advisory for their
amazing social conscience,” Ian Steel said.

“Piteo Accounting & Advisory are one of our many generous partners who provide not only financial support but also their staff to volunteer. It is this level of commitment along with donations from individual South Australians within the community, that makes KickStart for Kids lucky to be able to do what we do to help those kids who need it most.”

National Volunteer Week (NVW) is Australia’s largest annual celebration of volunteers. From Monday 17 May to Sunday 23 May 2021, the significant contribution of Australia’s almost six million volunteers are celebrated. Each year these volunteers dedicate over 600 million hours to help others and Piteo Accounting & Advisory is happy to play a role and contribute.

Today KickStart for Kids supports over 300 South Australian Schools, providing around 40,000 breakfasts and 10,000 lunches per week with 600 volunteers.
