There’s no such thing as too many dumpling joints, and the addition of Kim Dumpling in Seaton is a welcome one with its unique fit-out.
Unlike many dumpling spots, Kim Dumpling has an epic outdoor area where you can enjoy the mouth-watering menu and masterpieces that flow from the kitchen.
A family business, Kim Dumpling is headed by couple Sunho KIM and Sorang AN who are originally from South Korea but have been living in the western suburbs of Adelaide for over 10 years.
The pair noticed a gap in the Korean food market on that side of town, so set out to bring the west a slice of Korea through their family’s love of food.
“We often made dumplings for family and friends for many years. We decided to open a shop that specialised Korean dumplings and Bibimbap (Korean rice dish mixed with vegies and meats/tofu) where we can share our love and pride for Korean food,” the pair tells us.
Guests of the newly opened dumpling fans haven can expect freshly handmade Korean dumplings including pork, kimchi and vegetable as well as different varieties of bibimbap.
The venue, built on the pride of food always maintaining a high and fresh quality, also has an array of Korean traditional tea.
When we asked what sets Kim Dumpling apart from the rest, the dynamic duo told us their restaurant has a “made by mum at home” feel to it.
“Our food is very authentically Korean that you would find at restaurants in S. Korea. We make our dish every day with fresh ingredients,” they say.
“We want our customers have a great experience with Korean food from our shop and hopefully our food encourage them to try more Korean food.”
