There’s a new fried chicken spot in town!

Kokko Chicken has opened in Norwood with mouth-watering food and a modern, colourful fit out.

The menu is a kind of chicken nirvana, featuring items such as Citrus Mayo Chicken (citrus mayo sauce, fresh nion, Kokko fried chicken, chips, pickles), Hot Soy Chicken (chilli soy sauce, Kokko fried chicken, chips, pickles), and Cheese Flake Chicken (Kokko special cheese flake, Kokko fried chicken, chips, pickles).

Restaurant owner Julie Kim has finally opened the Korean fried chicken restaurant her friends have been demanding for years. Kokko Chicken began operation in April, with Julie joined by husband Ji at the helm.

Julie is a chef and former cooking teacher, long known amongst those close to her for her inventive and artistically progressive Korean fried chicken dishes.

Having first created a twice-fried chook for her son’s school lunches, Kokko Chicken is an avenue for Julie to share her dishes with the rest of the city.

Kokko Chicken places its entire focus on quality chicken dishes, particularly the craft of Korean fried chicken.

You can find Kokko Chicken at 1/1 Margaret Street.
