Strolling down Gouger amongst the glowing neon signs, and through the deluge of irresistible spices wafting through the air, you might think you’ve stumbled across an energetic Bangkokian cinema. What you’ve actually discovered is Gouger Street’s newest Thai paradise. With aromatic dishes cooked over days, desserts that will make your jaw drop, and a classy aura that’s defined by colourful Bangkok street markets, this restaurant is serving entertainment and experience right beside your main course.
Set on the corner of Gouger Street and Market Street, a bright neon sign and a waft of chilli and garlic invites you to enter through the retractable belt barriers, just like you would at the theatre. There, one of the neatly and uniquely fluorescent-uniformed staff leads you toward a table.

There are clear nods to Thai street market culture, with all the charm that comes with it, but the vibe is surprisingly refined and relaxed at dinner time.
That said, it’s clear they’re setting the stage for a party later on, as the crowd filters upstairs to a spacious dining hall, complete with a stage that ignites with live bands every weekend.

With a motto like “dining, music and dessert,” this venue delivers exactly what it promises.
Chatting to staff, we found out the Moo Grob pork belly was an absolute hit with diners. “It’s so delicious and tender, definitely worth trying,” he said.
“The shrimp and pork mince omelette has been pretty popular so far too, along with the Pad Thai, of course. A few people have said it’s some of the best Pad Thai they’ve had.”
You can also get a whole lot of other street food inspired dishes from fried rice, to egg noodles to salads packed with spice and brimming with zesty dressing.
Dessert is where things get really extravagant. Bingsu is the hero, and if you haven’t tried it before—now’s your time.
Bingsu is an icy treat and a showstopper in its own right. Imagine a mountain of fluffy, snow-like shaved ice, topped with tropical fruits and drizzled with sweetened condensed milk, finished with everything from chewy mochi to coconut ice cream. It’s light, refreshing, and made to share—a fun, over-the-top dessert that’s as much about the spectacle as the flavour. Very fitting for BB Thai Town.

Even before opening its doors, BB Thai Town was already making waves on social media. From the team behind the popular Bangkok Brothers restaurants in Northbridge and Whitfords, this new venue arrives as their sister restaurant.
“It’s been packed in here since we opened,” a member of BB Thai Town staff told us. “It’s already proven really popular, and people are really loving the late closing times.”
With bold, punchy flavours, lively beats and all the late-night buzz of a Bangkok street market, BB Thai Town could be a new go-to for late-night eats.
