Hecho en Mexico, a well-known Victorian restaurant group, has just announced the opening of a new location at 101-103 Prospect Road, Prospect. This marks the second South Australian Hecho en Mexico establishment, launching hot on the heels of its highly successful venue on Peel Street in Adelaide’s CBD.

Scheduled to open its doors on Monday, January 20, the Prospect venue will deliver the same authentic Mexican street-style cuisine and vibrant dining ambiance that has been warmly received in the city.

To mark the occasion, Hecho en Mexico is rolling out $5 tacos and $13 margaritas for the first two weeks after opening. Get in quick!

The Prospect establishment will also offer Hecho en Mexico’s bottomless brunch offerings on Saturdays and Sundays. With unlimited gourmet tacos and premium cocktails, this brunch is set to kick off a spicy weekend in style!

Hecho en Mexico, which first set roots in the Adelaide dining scene just six months ago, has rapidly become an Adelaide Mexican favourite. The menu features dishes made from fresh, locally sourced ingredients including Al Pastor tacos, gringas, and birria chilaquiles. The drinks menu offers a delightful selection of eight different margaritas, as well as mezcalitas and tequila flights.

The design and construction of the Prospect restaurant have been overseen by Hussain Nouri from NCJ Projects, with signage crafted by GoMambo, who also both worked on the Peel St project. The new venue blends modern aesthetics with traditional Mexican touches, intended to create a fun, welcoming atmosphere for diners.

Co-founder Parveen Bajar said, “The response from the Adelaide community to our Peel Street location has been incredible. We’ve seen locals embrace our authentic flavours and vibrant dining experience, which gives us great confidence as we open our second doors in Prospect.”

Co-founder Menak Grover said, “We never could have anticipated just how successful our first six months in Adelaide would be, and we are thrilled to have well and truly made our mark in the Adelaide dining scene with our authentic Mexican flavours and recipes all made with fresh, local produce.”

With 23 restaurants nationwide and more planned launches, including a forthcoming venue in NSW by March, Hecho en Mexico aims to spread its success even further.
