We’re the festival state for a reason in South Australia, and this new music festival joining the state’s wicked summer line-up is enough reason to prove that.

The inaugural Neoen Copper and Stone is making its way to Burra on February 5 2022, bringing with it an impressive all-female line-up of powerhouse singers. Headlining the festival will be Australian music legends Kate Ceberano and Mahalia Barnes, swooning crowds with their powerful lyrics and iconic tunes like Pash and Bedroom Eyes

Also taking the stage will be the talented likes of Wendy Matthews, Hussy Hicks, Germein and Jo Page. Local musical wonders Rosie Roberts, Caitlin Drew and Charlotte & Georga will be playing crowds their original songs on the afternoon.

Debuting on the lush lawns of Paxton Square, the family-friendly festival in the heart of the Clare Valley is the perfect way to enjoy the soon-to-be sunny summer months and joy from listening to live music again. Tickets to the event cost $95 for adults and $54.14 for children 16 and under. Great news if you have some tiny tots in tow, however – children under 12 can enter for free!

While the finer details are still under wraps for the exciting inaugural event, plenty of food trucks and local wine producers are scheduled to be setting up shop, letting you wine and dine your way through the festival.

The Neoen Copper and Stone is coming to Burra in conjunction with Revive the Regions with Music – the initiative striving to support the regions by hosting an array of live events and reigniting South Aussies love of music. Revive the Regions is also the brains behind other wicked regional festivals like Celeve Harvest Music Festival.

Grab your girlfriends and your family and head to the heart of the Clare Valley for what is sure to be a Saturday afternoon of live music fun. After a tough couple of years in SA’s music industry, there isn’t a better way to support the sector than heading out to enjoy a fun festival.

As COVID restrictions begin to ease, South Australia is set to be buzzing with excitement, with the festival season well and truly kicking off this summer.

Copper and Stone Festival will be held on February 5 2022 at Paxton Grounds in Burra. You can buy your tickets here.

Keep up to date with the festival online and on Facebook.
