The Adelaide University Union has announced a brand new music festival in an incredible location only minutes from the city.

FIELD TRIP will give festival goers the unique opportunity to experience the grand and luscious grounds of the historic Waite Campus precinct in Urrbrae, with a day/night outdoor festival format and amazing line-up of bands, food and entertainment.

Open to everyone, FIELD TRIP will see Brisbane Groove Rockers, The Belligerents headline the festival, supported by the badass Ecca Vandal amidst a beautiful open field surrounded by historic buildings and vineyards and overlooking the city.

Local supports include Jungle City, Somnium, Neon Tetra with On Dit and YEWTH DJs.

FIELD TRIP isn’t just about the music though.

With gourmet food, two bars (one just for wine, as Waite is an agricultural focused school offering wine studies), and art workshops, there is plenty for punters to enjoy throughout the afternoon and night.

A $10 bus service between the University of Adelaide North Terrace Campus and Waite Campus is being offered to students on the day.
