Nothing quite beats the feeling of enjoying a bevvy in the comfort of your backyard and that’s exactly what Peel Street’s newest addition, BckYrd Bar & Grill are bringing you from their place in the CBD.
Having opened in July this year, the fresh bar and grill takes the best of the outside and ties it in with their vibrant booths and walls that are surfaced in greenery.
Their exposed red bricking, accessorised with pastel pink tires and hanging plants, add a refreshing playful vibe to Adelaide’s go-to street.
Their décor features classic Aussie panel fencing that hugs the front of the building, all while capturing the spirit of an Australian summer day to make your backyard shenanigans feel that bit more lush.
“Our slogan is: Discover happiness in our BckYrd,” BckYrd’s advertising coordinator Ariani Santos says.
“We offer a relaxed atmosphere, perfect pours with Lady Burra Beers [that are] exclusively on tap and fresh cocktails.”
“We offer happy hour from 4pm to 6pm from Thursday to Friday,” Ariani says.
They also have espresso martini on tap, $8 pints and beers, $8 house wines and $8 house spirits.
All their refreshing bevies are “backed up by delicious snacks, bites & Australian BBQ.”
Their menu of Aussie BBQ classics include your choice from a classically tender marinated chicken thigh, a medium grilled beef, onion and capsicum combo as well as a vegetarian friendly juicy corn rib that is smothered in butter and seasoned perfectly.
And like any good BBQ, BckYrd offer a share platter of gourmet cheeses, deli meats, olives, seasonal fruit and, of course, crackers to pair with all the goodies.
They serve their grilled treats, chilled vibes and pour their variety of drinks on Thursdays and Fridays from 4pm-2am and Saturdays 5pm-2am.
Walk-ins are welcome because in true Aussie spirit, you don’t need an excuse to enjoy a BBQ.
