Known as the “Burger Queen” from her previous venture My Collective Kitchen at Plant 4 Bowden, Morgan Phillips has now earned the title of “Breakfast & Brunch Queen” with her latest offering, Mia Cucinetta. The spacious Italian café is now open seven days a week from 7am with a brand-new menu.
“I must be crazy,” said single mum of three teenagers, Morgan.
“I haven’t had a day off in over three months and am now working more than 95 hours a week, but I just love our family business, our customers, and the Plant 4 Bowden community—so it’s totally worth it.”
“With our larger space and laneway entrance, I’m thrilled to offer a more diverse and incredibly delicious menu, along with extended opening hours.”
It all starts with a great breakfast offering and outstanding coffee.
“Our coffee is organic, and we have our own blend roasted right here in SA, just for us. Customers have told us it’s the best coffee in Adelaide, and some even drive in from as far as Elizabeth every week just for a cuppa and cake,” added Morgan.
Coffee is available from 7am, with the kitchen opening at 8am. Plus, Mia Cucinetta will now be open on Saturday nights during Plant 4 public events.
“We’ve kept some of our most famous gourmet burgers on the menu but added more Italian favourites, including fresh pasta, paninis, and a selection of authentic sweets and cakes.”
The menu also features healthy salads, flame-grilled steaks, and hot stone dining in the evenings from Wednesday to Friday.
Portion sizes are generous, and the feedback on the new café has been overwhelmingly positive.
“As a family, we feel we’ve created a really delicious menu and make sure we deliver our dishes at a consistently high standard, along with friendly service.”
