NEW POP-UP BAR: Art 24 Launches On Morphett Street

There’s a new watering hole you should check out! PLUS we’ve got a cheese platter and bottle of wine to giveaway.

We’ve been spoilt for choice this summer when it comes to new watering holes in the city. There seems to be bars popping on the reg and we’re lapping it up aren’t we Adelaide!

It just so happened we were walking past this hidden gem, Art 24, with a “opening tonight” sign stuck on the door. It reminded us that some of the best bars we’ve come across are those we’ve stumbled upon, so we knew we had to check this out stat! It looks like this new pop up bar will only be open for Mad March at this stage, serving up local SA wines from Orchard Wines, brews from Little Bang Brewery Company and of course, cheese from Say Cheese.

Owner, Nick Klau, said “Art 24 was really an “aha” moment looking around at all the Fringe and festivities. They thought “let’s have some fun here” and all of the elements just came together. It seemed like a good idea at the time – so why not.”

“It’s a great mix of wine, art and delicious beer. That was really all of the inspiration we needed to make it happen. We get excited and we like doing stuff in this city.”

“The area has nothing like it there either and people who live in the city still want something local. They’re getting that nice community response “you’re just downstairs or across the road”.

Ryan from Little Bang Brewery, said we can expect a “casual, laid-back, industrial space” and by the sounds of things, Art 24 will also be housing a tonne of local art and possibly doubling as a gallery-bar. We’re intrigued.

You’ll find Art 24 at 180 Morphett Street, Adelaide. Open 7 days a week, 5-11pm.
