Is your closet crowded with gorgeous items that could use some more love? Let someone love your clothes as much as you did!
Adelaide’s newest rent a rack store is opening in Norwood to give these special pieces a second life.
This Thursday September 30, Monday Market is opening on The Parade with 42 daily changing racks full of unique second hand pieces. Rack holders are allowed to refill their racks as they sell, so you’re set to find new gems each time you visit the store!
Rack holders can rent a rack from one week to as long as they like while keeping 100% of their profits. This means rack holders keep every dollar of the price they tag their clothes at. Monday Market also offers a consignment option for luxury goods like jewellery and handbags (25% commission applies on these sold goods).
Monday Market makes it easy for rack holders to track their sales through their easy online ticketing system. The online app is specifically made for rent a rack stores. This makes it very convenient to keep up to date and very easy to make the most of the rented rack. A rack can also be booked through the same online app which makes the whole process cruisy.
From only $80, rack holders can choose between three rack options – small racks with 50 items, medium racks with 65 items and large racks with 110 items. From formal wear to casual pieces to handbags and hats, your rack is what you make it.
Rather than throwing away clothes you haven’t worn in a while, you can prove their true value by selling it on with Monday Market. The rent a rack concept goes against the grain of fast fashion and passes on good quality styles for others to enjoy.
Monday Market store manager Natalia has extensive experience in the rent a rack industry. The Norwood location was chosen specifically to bring in foot traffic in the easy access of a suburban location.
Monday Market welcomes all brands and styles, to appeal to everyone.
With a spare room at the back, Monday Market is also keen to have clothing hire businesses join their space. They are welcoming hire businesses to get in touch and use their Norwood location as a space for people to try on clothes they are looking to hire and have a new point of access.
It’s time to take your wardrobe spring clean to another level and make some profit from it too. Head down to Monday Market on Thursday September 30 and bag yourself a bargain or two.
You can follow Monday Market on Instagram and Facebook and find out more on their website.
