Gone are the days of soggy Pad Thai in paper boxes– let’s welcome a new era of delicious, fresh and totally authentic Thai food brought to us by former head chef of award-winning restaurant Golden Boy from the kitchens of his own recently opened Thai restaurant, Krung Thep!

Prachaya “Palm” Skolaree, affectionately known the “wok star”, is inspired by the rich and colourful history of his homeland. The restaurant’s name, Krung Thep, is in fact the traditional name for Bangkok and represents their focus on the new and exciting future of Thailand. This is reflected in their menu, which brings you a mix of old faves and plenty of dishes you may have never tried before!

Krung Thep opened earlier this year and awaits excitedly to have you swing by for a taste of their authentic, flavoursome food. Find them at 147 O’Connell Street in North Adelaide, open every day except Monday.

Check out some of their dishes below or follow them on Instagram and Facebook– be warned that the pics will make your mouth water!
