American-style eatery Frankie’s Diner looks like an absolute dream!

The Gilles Plains venue opened in May with coffee, burgers, hotdogs, fries, shakes, booze –– yes, you read that right: They have just about everything you’re craving!

Director Cohen Sulicich says the venue is there pretty much ‘round the clock for their customers’ wants.

“We’re looking to be a one-stop shop,” he says.

“You can have your morning coffee, your burger on Saturday, and your dinner on a Thursday evening; We’re open morning, noon, and night.”

The eatery is known for their signature burgers, including Frank the Tank and the aptly named Mother Clucker chicken burger. However, they also serve up booze and coffee from their stylish venue.

“It’s a fun, playful take on high-quality fast food with premium ingredients,” Sulicich says.

The fit out––a contemporary take on an American 1950s diner––exemplifies this as well. With blue and white booths and counter seating, and playful neon signs, Frankie’s Diner has vintage Americana covered.

The restaurant originally began as a small eatery on Mawson Lakes’ uni campus, but expanded to Gilles Plains May.

“Our initial plan was to have two sites, but with everything COVID-related, we decided to consolidate,” he says.

“Now we’re just one site and one identity: a premium American-style diner.”
