NEW RESTAURANT: Jack & Jill’s Is Slinging Cocktails, Share Plates And A Downstairs Bar

With a focus on modern Australian cuisine, the new bar and restaurant is all about sharing good food and good times in the heart of Adelaide.

Forget the nursery rhyme, this time Jack & Jill’s is for adults only.

The new restaurant and bar is the first hospitality venture of Tom McLean and takes over the former Old Friend site on Pirie Street.

With a focus on modern Australian cuisine, the eatery is all about sharing good food and good times.

Embracing the theme that life is better shared, Tom has developed a menu that includes tasteful dishes such as Barramundi in a Sri Lankan curry sauce, spiced lamb shoulder, gin cured trout, pork belly in a burnt miso apple puree, as well as vegetarian options like baked pumpkin or roasted cauliflower.

And at the end of the night, forget going up the hill, this time Jack & Jill are heading down to their underground bar, which is open Friday and Saturday from 5.30pm – late for their Social Club nights. Stacked with South Aussie favourites – wine, beer, and spirits – you’re sure to find something that tickles your fancy and will keep you dancing all night.

Jack & Jill’s is now open and can be found at 121 Pirie Street, Adelaide.

Opening hours:

Monday – Friday: 12pm-3pm & 5.30pm-Late

Saturday: 5.30pm-Late

The Downstairs Social Club is open on Friday and Saturday nights only.
