SA Cabinet changes announced by Premier

South Australia’s Premier, Steven Marshall, has unveiled the new SA Ministry.

South Australia’s Premier, Steven Marshall has announced the new SA Ministry in a press conference.

Mr Marshall says that the new additions have been chosen as they display a blend of experience and youth.

Attorney General, Vickie Chapman will be assuming responsibilities of Minister of Planning and Local Government.

Corey Wingard will be appointed the role of Minister for Transport and Infrastructure, and will retain his responsibilities as Minister for Recreation, Sport and Racing.

Speaker of the Lower House, Vincent Tarzia will be assuming the responsibilities of Minister for Police, Emergency Services, Correctional Services.

Member for Finniss, David Basham will be elevated to Cabinet as Minister for Primary Industries and Regional Development.

Member for Morphett, Stephen Patterson will also be elevated to Cabinet as Minister for Trade, and Investment.

Mr Marshall then thanked the outgoing Ministers for their exceptional work.

The swearing in ceremony is expected to take place tomorrow morning ahead of the first Cabinet meeting with the new ministry on Thursday.
