The Original Pancake Kitchen has officially opened in a new location at the Port Adelaide Plaza, bringing established charm and delicious pancakes to port-siders of Adelaide.
You’ve probably stumbled upon the original Original Pancake Kitchen in Gilbert Place in the City.
The first franchise opened in 1965 and the notion of bringing Adelaidians with a quirky and captivating dining experience still remains.
You’ll find all your favourite menu items at the new Port Adelaide Store and can expect that rustic charm of their first franchise.
If by some cruel twist of fate you haven’t heard of The Original Pancake Kitchen, just picture hot fluffy pancakes stacked atop each other with any topping that you could possibly imagine.
Be warned, as your eyes will most definitely be bigger than your stomach, but we won’t judge if you go back for a second serving.
Dessert not your flavour? The Original Pancake Kitchen offers a delectable list of savoury options from Nachos & Wings to Burgers & Fries, there’s even a Chicken Parmy to sink your teeth into.
There is also a kids menu, vegan offerings and an extensive list of hot and cold beverages. The Orginal Pancake Kitchen really has something for everyone.
General Manager, Joshua Gordon, explains that the Port Adelaide Store is an elevated version of the city restaurant. Same menu, but a lot fancier, with table service and a whole new fit-out included.
