McLaren Vale winemakers, Bent Creek Vineyards are launching their new Misty Lane Moscato ‘Jeanie’ on Wednesday 16th September. A sweet and saucy drop that your tastebuds will love, it comes into the world via an exclusive 5 course royal banquet at the Hotel Richmond.
Named after the winemakers mother, and bottled in late 2014, this light bodied sparkling Moscato has lovely aromas of orange blossom and honeysuckle. The semi-sweet, creamy texture is balanced with white peach and apricot characters making it the perfect accompaniment to a scrumptious Marmalade Pudding drizzled with Crème Anglaise.
Hotel Richmond are hosting a 5 course royal banquet to help you get acquainted with Jeanie on Wednesday the 16th of September, including that Marmalade Pudding. Holy deliciousness.
The Italian inspired banquet with delicacies that even a Savoy will enjoy, boasts Polpette in San Maranzo Pomodoro Sugo, San Jose Nduja, Goats Curd and Yellowtail Kingfish Carpaccio.
Sam, Bent Creek’s winemaker, will also be hosting the night and taking you through the tasting notes of each of his wines which have been paired specifically for each course.
