Final lots at Newbridge are set to be released, addressing the pressing housing demand in Murray Bridge. Burke Urban, the developer behind the project, will be unveiling 31 new allotments, marking the culmination of their efforts in this thriving community.
Known as the green heart of Murray Bridge, Newbridge sits adjacent to the town’s golf course, boasting two newly constructed golf fairways that meander through the neighbourhood, enhancing its natural allure.
Initially earmarked for potential future accommodation or tourism purposes, this land has now been allocated for residential use to meet the burgeoning housing needs of Murray Bridge, with almost all previous stages of development already sold out.
Since its launch in September 2020, Newbridge has garnered significant interest from prospective homeowners, much to the satisfaction of Olivia Burke, Sales and Marketing Director at Burke Urban.
“We set out to build a strong community and a green heart for Murray Bridge,” Burke stated. “It’s been a joy to see this project come to life, with the completion of reserves, play spaces, and BBQ areas, alongside the flourishing community.”
Murray Bridge has experienced remarkable growth in recent years, recognised by the Real Estate Institute of South Australia (REISA) as one of the top three rising regional property markets.
With investments nearing the billion-dollar mark, fuelled by the Murray Bridge Council’s strategic economic development plan, the town has emerged as an attractive destination for investors and residents alike.
“It’s fantastic to see Murray Bridge becoming one of the most sought-after regional areas in South Australia,” Burke said.
Key developments such as the relocation of the Murray Bridge Racing Club, expansion of the Monarto Safari Park and The Bend Motor Sport Park, and the inauguration of Thomas Foods’ state-of-the-art meat processing plant have significantly contributed to the area’s appeal.
Upon the completion of this final stage, Burke Urban will have delivered a total of 160 new allotments. Olivia Burke expressed her satisfaction with Murray Bridge’s growing prominence, highlighting the region’s characteristics that make it an ideal choice for investors and residents alike.
The last phase of development comprises 31 allotments ranging from 425 to 733m2, offering affordability without compromising quality, with prices starting at $139,000.
With development approval secured, construction is slated to commence mid-year 2024, with completion anticipated by year-end, further enhancing Murray Bridge’s housing landscape and catering to the evolving needs of its residents.
