Leading South Australian events and music identity Brian Gleeson OAM (now the 100th Hall of Fame inductee) and the iconic Adelaide Oval (the 6th and largest venue to date to join the list) were the newest inductees to the Adelaide Music Collective (AMC) South Australian Music Hall of Fame!

Brian Gleeson is most commonly known for his role in the Adelaide 500 as the events and concert manager – AKA the amazing man who brought us Robbie Williams this year and other awesome acts like Cold Chisel, INXS, Guy Sebastian, Hilltop Hoods, Peking Duk and an endless list of more!
Whilst also bringing in the big leagues, Brian Gleeson concept called Bands On Track to Music SA gives local South Australian acts the chance to perform on the concert stage at the Adelaide 500, providing valuable exposure for both the act and their crew in front of a large audience.
Gleeson’s induction to the Hall of Fame is more than deserving from his hard work and dedication to the South Australian music and events industry! – He deserves an award purely for bringing Robbie Williams to Adelaide.
Adelaide Oval is a world-class venue capable of hosting globally renowned acts. Since its redevelopment in 2014, the internationally awarded venue has proven its flexibility by hosting full-house concerts right through to small and intimate private functions. In fact, Adelaide Oval is a significant contributor to the live music industry with bands performing at private events within the venue week in, week out – most recently the man himself Ed Sheeran with a sell out show!
