Nick Stock returns to curate cellar door line-up for 2023 Harvest Rock festival

Curated by renowned Australian wine critic Nick Stock, Harvest Rock offers attendees a chance to explore and savour over 100 wines from across the state

Harvest Rock is back, and it’s bigger, better… and tastier!

Set to take place in the heart of Adelaide at Murlawirrapurka & Ityamai-Itpina / Rymill & King Rodney Parks on October 28 & 29, 2023, this two-day festival is going to rock. And it’s also going to showcase some of SA’s exquisite wine and beverage offerings.

Curated by renowned Australian wine critic Nick Stock, Harvest Rock offers attendees a chance to explore and savour over 100 wines from across the state, with more than 20 of South Australia’s top winemakers pouring their creations at the Harvest Rock II Cellar Door pop-up.

Take a drop of Harvest Rock home, with the option for guests to have bottles delivered to their door, which sets a new standard for the Australian music festival drinks experience.

Nick Stock, with his extensive knowledge and experience in wines, has meticulously curated the festival to showcase the best that South Australia has to offer.

Nick Stock adds, “The drinks experience is such a feature of Harvest Rock and what we bring is totally unique. Expect amazing drinks cross the entire festival, highlighted by a collection of South Australia’s best wines. Hang with the winemakers in the Cellar Door feature and share their best bottles as well rare, small-production wines. South Australia’s famous name are pouring alongside the state’s cutting edge winemaker talent at Harvest Rock right across the weekend.”

To complement through a different taste, this year’s Cellar Door will see award winning Adelaide Hills cheese purveyors, Udder Delights, offering specially curated cheese boxes to perfectly pair with a beverage of choice.

On the varied offerings at this year’s Harvest Rock, Secret Sounds co-CEO Jessica Ducrou notes

“Presenting South Australia’s best-in-show food and wine offerings, including cellar door pop-ups, all combined with great music, we’re excited to present a festival with many different facets for another year running.”

This year’s Harvest Rock will feature 25 Cellar Door vendors from around the region, ensuring there is something for everyone. Nick Stock is particularly excited about the incredible lineup of young winemaking talent at Harvest Rock 2023, including Lauren Langfield, the 2023 Young Gun of Wine, and past winners like the Koerner brothers, Michael Downer (Murdoch Hill), and Charlotte Hardy (Charlotte Dalton).

With 25 Cellar Door vendors from all around the region to experience and support, there will be a favourite for everyone. On the key highlights of wine on offer this year, Nick Stock shares – “This year I’ve assembled a group that is driving the future of wine not only for South Australia, but this is a talented line-up that is setting the tone for winemaking right across the country.”
