Night Lab will hold an adults-only Winter Wonderland event this July

SA Museum’s Night Lab will hold a Winter Wonderland event, the Snow Ball, this July for adults-only to educate and entertain during the core of winter!

This July Night Lab are holding a frosty night of magic at the South Australian Museum to celebrate our coldest month in an adults-only Winter Wonderland event: the Snow Ball.

The SA Museum’s adults-only Night Lab evenings are highly anticipated events for those in the know, often booked out or close to it. While earlier this year COVID restrictions and Fringe events made for a more low key event, Night Lab are back this July 29 for the whole shebang.

You will be in for a night of crazy costumes, face painting, cotton candy, crafts and maybe even a cheeky cocktail if the crew over at the Highball Cocktail Co return for this winter event!

Previously, Night Lab have collaborated with the Pacific Islands Council of SA in an extravagant night of Polynesian culture as women danced the hula and Tapu’s Tatatau Ink gave traditional inkings to those who attended in a more permanent offering of their culture.

You can expect DJs to fill some spaces with music while other spaces let you chill out on beanbags. And don’t worry, the museum’s cafe keeps the lights on for those needing to soak up their alcohol!

For those keen to learn, there will be talks throughout the night as well as opportunities to chat directly with museum staff and volunteers.

Word on the street is that a special surprise awaits those who rock up with the funkiest costumes! So be creative!
