Hot off the heels of US comedian Nikki Glaser hosting this week’s Golden Globes, TEG Dainty has confirmed that Glaser will extend her international Alive and Unwell tour to include dates in Australia and New Zealand in July 2025. Nikki Glaser, renowned for her brutally honest and comedic style, has carved out a niche in the comedy scene through her sheer talent and determination.
The tour schedule for Glaser’s Australia/NZ visit kicks off In Auckland at the Kiri Te Kanawa Theatre on July 17th, followed by performances in Melbourne at the Plenary Theatre on July 18th, Sydney’s ICC Theatre on July 19th, Brisbane Convention Centre on July 22nd, Adelaide’s Her Majesty’s Theatre on July 24th, and wraps up in Perth at the Perth HPC on July 25th.
Nikki Glaser’s comedian trajectory in 2024 spotlighted her innate abilities, notably during her standout performance at the Tom Brady Roast which went viral, cementing her reputation as a master roaster. Following this, her second HBO comedy special “Someday You’ll Die” premiered, marking a significant milestone as it led to her first Emmy® Award nomination. According to HBO, the special not only set records for its premiere night but also amassed the largest streaming audience for a Comedy Special in HBO Max/Max’s history.
This week Glaser continued to capture the public’s attention by hosting the 82nd annual Golden Globe Awards, drawing acclaim globally for her performance. The comedian’s approach to comedy is unapologetically honest, covering a range of topics from personal anecdotes to broader societal observations which resonate deeply with audiences.
Currently, Glaser hosts and is the executive producer of the series LOVERS AND LIARS, which evolved from the HBO reality dating series FBOY ISLAND. The latter series enjoyed huge success, noted for its innovative format and Glaser’s engaging role as both advisor and on-screen personality, contributing to its impactful debut on HBO Max.
Adding to her varied career, Glaser has hosted numerous television shows, including Comedy Central’s YOU UP WITH NIKKI GLASER, which was well-received for its fresh and dynamic content. Her Netflix special BANGIN’ was another highlight, becoming the most-watched special during its release period.
