No new COVID-19 cases in SA as new testing facility opens in Angaston Hospital

A new drive-through COVID-19 testing location has been opened at Angaston Hospital to provide easier access to testing for those in the local community.

A new drive-through COVID-19 testing location has been opened at Angaston Hospital to provide easier access to testing for those in the local community.

It will be open from 9.00am to 5.00pm, 7 days a week, all ages welcome.

No booking or GP referral required, however, the facility is for cars and motorbikes only (no walk-ins or cyclists).

There have been no new cases of COVID-19 recorded in SA, and there is one active case.

There are 464 patients recovered, four people have died of COVID-19 in SA.

People experiencing any of the following symptoms should be tested for COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills (in the absence of an alternative illness that explains these symptoms)
  • An acute respiratory infection e.g. symptoms of cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness of breath
  • Loss of smell or alteration in the sense of taste
