There is one active case in SA, and 465 people have been cleared of COVID-19.

There have been four reported deaths from COVID-19, and more than 477,500 tests have been undertaken.

However, a woman in her 50s who returned to South Australia from interstate tested positive to COVID- 19.

She was a confirmed case interstate but was cleared before travelling to South Australia, and is now in hotel quarantine in SA.

This represents an old infection, and will not count towards COVID-19 case numbers.

From today, standing consumption of food/drink can resume outdoors at licensed venues.

Private functions at licensed venues with a maximum of 150 guests (i.e. weddings) may have indoor/outdoor standing consumption of food/drink and dancing, provided contact tracing records are kept and other specific requirements are met.

If you have, or if you know someone with symptoms of COVID-19, encourage them to seek testing.

Once you get a test, return home immediately and wait for your results.

If you receive a negative test result, you should still stay at home and not attend work, school or childcare until you are feeling well again.

Do not go to public places if you are unwell – this includes work, education, childcare, shopping centres, sporting events, social or religious gatherings.

Everyone must continue to follow measures that will help stop the spread.

Practice good hygiene, keep 1.5 metres distance from others and stay at home if you are unwell.

People experiencing any of the following symptoms should be tested for COVID-19:

  • Fever or chills (in the absence of an alternative illness that explains these symptoms)
  • An acute respiratory infection e.g. symptoms of cough, sore throat, runny nose, or shortness ofbreath
  • Loss of smell or alteration in the sense of taste
