The Winnovation Awards aim to showcase the state’s best female innovators, whether working within an organisation as an intrapreneur or running their own show as an entrepreneur.
Women can either self nominate or be nominated. Tell you innovation story, it may take a little while to write down, but it will be well worth it. The reward will last a lifetime and is as simple as checking out the online application.
There are multiple categories including Health and Science, Manufacturing and Defence, Education, Community and several more.
Sherry Kothari won last year in the category of Health and Science for her role in establishing a $60m world class, national centre in Adelaide to focus on new cell generation, reduce their manufacturing costs, fast track them into the clinic and deliver these therapies first to Australians.
If you think you are an innovative and empowering woman, or you know a woman like that, nominating is quick, easy and free and can be submitted online via the brand new Winnovation website in a matter of minutes.
Nominations close midnight, Friday 4 September 2015.
