Are you coming to town for Gather Round and looking for ways to explore the state and the amazing food and wine we’re known for? Guess what? You’re in for a treat! This Gather Round the Norwood Food & Wine Festival is back for another year of outstanding food, delicious wine, and epic entertainment.

On Sunday, April 13th, The Parade will come alive as it joins forces with the 2025 AFL Gather Round, with some fantastic South Australian eating and drinking experiences our great state is known for.

In true South Australian style, this will be nothing less than an extravaganza. Norwood’s bars, cafes, and restaurants will be joined by some of the state’s best wine, beer, and spirits producers for an afternoon you won’t want to miss.

Expect live music to be playing throughout the day from the Main Stage and DJ booths along the Parade. To round out the evening, ARIA Award-winning band, Birds of Tokyo, will perform hits like Good Lord, Plans, and Lanterns on the main stage for a truly unforgettable performance. What a way to end the weekend!

Kicking off at 11am, you’ll discover hidden gem venues and classic South Australian institutions. Local traders are curating an impressive array of offerings, ranging from fresh seafood to charcoal-fired dishes, canapés, and more. Offerings from fan favourites, including arkhé, Kiin, and Threefold Distilling, mean there’s plenty to look out for. Some great collaborations will also be seen, like Gullyview Estate x The Watervale Hotel, Fair Seafood x Never Never Distilling, Lost Phoenix Spirits x Orso Kensington, Bar Lune x Fettle, Africola Canteen and Seppeltsfield, Penny’s Hill & Gemtree Organic Wines x Smelly Cheese Coo, and more. You can also check out some of The Parade’s newest venues, including Secrets By The Parade, Lone Star Rib House & Brews and 88 Pocha.

South Australian winery Penfolds will be showcasing its internationally renowned range in a stylish new space set to welcome walk-in guests for canapés and tastings. For wine, beer and spirit lovers, some fantastic producers will be on show at the South Australian Wine Producers Bar, Spirit Bar, Wine Cellar and Brewers Lane. Cheers to that!

Attendees can enjoy the festivities while also catching the day’s three scheduled matches, including a 2:50pm clash between St Kilda and the GWS Giants at Norwood Oval, which will be broadcast across dedicated watch zones and in a sensory area at Norwood Hoyts.
