Adelaide’s inner east will become home to a vibrant $120m master planned community combining residential living, retail shopping, and open green spaces.

Norwood Green, a joint project by well-known and respected Adelaide developers Buildtec Group and Catcorp, is being built on the site of the former Caroma factory at 100 Magill Road.

Designed by award-winning architects, Tectvs, the design for Norwood Green is inspired by the communal hub of the traditional village green, with townhouses and apartments built around shared open spaces and laneways.

Spanning approximately 20,000sqm, Norwood Green is the largest residential and retail development that has been undertaken in the inner east with home designs drawing on the site’s industrial past in modern and sophisticated ways.

Townhouse and apartment features include large balconies or private courtyards, high-end European appliances, caesarstone benchtops, timber flooring, ducted reverse cycle air conditioning and secure car parking.

Interest in the development is high with many enquiries coming from first home buyers and local owner occupiers who are keen to downsize, and simplify their lives without compromising on style.

Norwood Green will welcome its first residents to the Appelbee and Chapel townhouses over the next couple of months marking an exciting milestone for the project.

Construction of the one, two and three-bedroom apartments will also commence before the end of the year and scheduled for completion in 2022.

Other significant developments at Norwood Green in 2020 include the opening of the new ALDI supermarket in June and the launch of the Muller townhouses which consists of four architecturally designed Torrens-titled four-bedroom residences with dual park frontage.

The lifestyle benefits of living close to the heart of Norwood will be on display when Norwood Green hosts its annual ‘Xmas at the Green’ event featuring delicious local food, wine, beer, gin, a small market with great gift ideas from local traders and plenty of entertainment including live music.
