Nova’s own Royal Adelaide Show extends dates

Nova’s Royal Show starts this Friday, with the exciting event operating in three sessions so Adelaidean’s can experience the thrill of the carnival.

With The Royal Adelaide Show postponed for a second year, it is understandable that Adelaidean’s may have a large, carnival-shaped hole in their heart.

Luckily, Adelaide’s favourite radio hosts Ben and Liam have found a way to bring South Aussies a little bit of fun, and it all kicks off this Friday.

While the cancellation of the Royal Adelaide Show sending shockwaves across the state for stallholders, families and show lovers alike, the team at Nova has created a COVID-friendly Show hosted at Bonython Park.

Nova’s (not) Royal Show is running from September 24 until October 10, with the dates extended to meet demand. The exciting event is operating in three sessions each day to make sure all of Adelaide can experience the sugary thrill of the carnival.

Tickets cost $3 per person with kids two and under free. The three sessions will run between 10 am – 1 pm, 2:30 pm – 5:30 pm and 7 pm – 10 pm. From there, patron’s will pay at they go for thrilling show rides, sweet treats and more.

Expect to see over 25 rides, as well as all the fan-favourites synonymous with the show, like dagwood dogs and twisted potato chips, as well over 60 showbags from Trolli lollies to Bluey and Barbie.

South Australian’s will also be able to meet and greet the characters from Paw Patrol during the day, and marvel at firework spectaculars each night at 9:30 pm.

Parking will be available for the event at $8.50 per car.

There are only a limited number of tickets available, so get in quick to book your preferred day and revel in all the showtime fun.
