Earlier this year, one of Adelaide’s top performing arts schools in Star Academy revealed its impressive, brand-new facility in Adelaide’s CBD. With seven dance studios, an acting studio and three singing rooms, all fully equipped with state-of-the-art technology, it’s no wonder they are the pinnacle when it comes to performance schools in the state.
Along with the new facility comes Star Academy’s newest addition – a boutique children’s store that stocks everything any little fashionista could ever need!

Dubbed Lune and Sol, the idea came about when Star Academy’s Managing Director, Jenna Maiolo wanted to make use of the amazing foyer area in the new establishment and channelled her love of dressing her own son into a business venture to support other parents who feel the same.
“I love dressing my son in something a bit different, so I wanted a space where parents could come if they needed something instantly,” Jenna explains.
“I’m always thinking that my kids new outfits the day before one of our events so now parents have somewhere to come other than a department store where they know they’ll be able to find something.”
Lune and Sol prides itself on stocking quality brands with names such as Tiny Trove, Soll. The Label, Audrey Lane and Wovenwear and more all making their way onto the shelves in a large range of sizing suitable for kids aged 1-8.

“Our passion if to offer a unique, yet stylish list of items to suit every kid’s personality and attitude,” says Jenna.
Not just for students of the academy, Lune and Sol is open to all and will also soon be available to purchase online however the allure of the store is enough to make you get off the couch and experience it in full.
Pinstripe green walls hold up rows of chrome piping that effectively act as racks for the clothing, giving an industrial feel to the otherwise perfectly manicured store which is as inviting to walk around as it is to buy from.
Lune and Sol is located at 199 Franklin Street, Adelaide.
