After months of anticipation, the causal Greek diner gracing Hindley Street, Dino’s, has finally opened its doors for business.

After months of anticipation, the causal Greek diner gracing Hindley Street, Dino’s, has finally opened its doors for business.

The diner officially opened on Monday the 13th of May, a little later than anticipated, but it is very easily forgivable when you lay your eyes on the delicious food Dino’s has to offer.

As promised, Dino’s is offering a range of traditional and creative style pita pockets, including options ranging from Adobo pork belly, roast lamb and Moroccan style Lamb, cooked on a Brazilian style rotisserie grill.

The menu also includes share plates with meats, such as chicken, lamb and beef, and the option of salads, like beetroot with fennel and orange, or traditional Greek style. They will also have hummus and Gretan Dakos to choose, plus a mixed grill plate that includes a selection of sides and a choice of sauce.

With Dino’s partnership with First Drop Wines, the drinks menu provides a great selection of wines, paired with three different on tap beers, including Dino’s very own Draught beer.

The interior design reflects a modern Greek contemporary vibe that Andrew wanted to achieve with the help of Ella Horne from Muse Studios’. The bright blue stools, white rendered walls and light blue tiling all accented by Dino’s signature electric blue brand theme, is showcased throughout the whole diner.

Behind all of the hard work is founder Andrew Papadakis, and his co-founder Giuseppe Nasti, who together formulated the recipe behind the success that Dino’s is already beginning to become.

“It has all worked out very well, I am super happy, it is just as expected,” Andrew said.

After a four-year set back, working alongside Giuseppe, and now with the opening of his new venture, Andrew has learnt what it takes to be a success in the restaurant business.

If you are craving Greek food and an easy, casual dining experience, head on down to Dino’s on Hindley Street and be treated to the wonderful flavours of Chef Giuseppe Nasti, and the traditional Mediterranean flavours.
