Ciao Bella Panini and Cucina in Kensington Park is the new café bringing a taste of Italy to Adelaide with heart-warming, belly-filling Italian classics.
Pasquale Catazariti, the owner of Ciao Bella, has built his new café with a commitment to authenticity, honouring traditional ways of dealing and making Italian food, and establishing himself as a contributor and cultural creator in Adelaide. This recent addition to the eastern suburbs has become a hub for locals to get a taste of Italy, and bringing a cosy touch to the neighbourhood through Pasquale’s and his famiglia food.
Just as Pasquale promised prior to the opening of Ciao Bella, everything is made fresh and in-house. He places a big emphasis on his house-made bread, making his food as authentic as it gets saying: “I use my mum’s recipe, exactly how she taught me”.
As Pasquale and his wife were welcoming their baby girl to the world and debating on a name for the café, they chose ‘Ciao Bella’ as homage to their daughter, creating a home for everyone to enjoy. It has become a place for people to be greeted with a warm smile and heart-warming food, creating community for everyone to be part of.
With their most loved and popular cotoletta panino – a fried chicken cutlet with truffle mayo, tomato, lettuce, bocconcini, capsicum, green olive and of course basil – their paninis are loaded with great quality ingredients.
Pasquale highlights the freshness of his ingredients with an open viewing of paninis being made, prosciutto being sliced, and coffee being brewed, allowing diners to have an interactive experience with the Ciao Bella team.
“We do all-day breakfast and freshly bake the bread here, we just want to satisfy our people,” Pasquale says.
With their main goal to satisfy their customers, Ciao Bella also provide catering for people to enjoy their Italian classics for all types of events.
