Belles Hot Chicken, the cult-favourite, casual dining hotspot known for their mouth-watering American-style fried chicken, is finally making its long-awaited mark in Adelaide, opening Wednesday June 19th.
The restaurant has a massive interstate fanbase (for good reason), and is set to bring that energy here, elevating Adelaide’s small bar dining scene.
“We’re absolutely pumped to be opening our doors in Adelaide! Since our first pop-up at Leigh Street Wine Room to our collab Belles Original Draught with Pirate Life, Adelaide has always had a place in our heart,” Director Joss Jenner-Leuthart says.
“It was always a natural next step as we bring more of our passion for hot chicken to Australia.”
Situated conveniently on the corner of Hindley Street and Gresham Street, Belles has transformed an iconic CBD location, replacing a former massage parlour and convenience store, with the epic new space.
The venue will exude warmth and character, blending elements like warm timber, yellow laminate, vintage lights, neon, and chrome to create an atmosphere that feels “perfectly lived-in”.
“For each Belles, we work to create a space that’s unique to the neighbourhood, something special,” Joss Jenner-Leuthart says.
“It’s taken us longer than we thought, but we’re super proud of what we’ve put together and can’t wait to welcome old and new Adelaide friends to Belles.”
In addition to their famous American-style fried chicken and side dishes, Belles is set to elevate the beverage experience in Adelaide.
Diners can indulge in a selection of premium drinks, including Dom Perignon and Louis Roeder Cristal champagne, priced at $450 a bottle, and Pappy Van Winkle 15-year-old whiskey at $85 per serving.
There will also be a selection of indie breweries, and an exclusive collaboration with local friends at Bink for natural wines.
To celebrate their official arrival in Adelaide, the team is offering a special promotion throughout June, with 50% back in vouchers on all online bookings, along with a mouthwatering 2-for-1 deal on all Belles sandwiches.
The restaurant is also introducing its renowned ‘Hot & Happy Hour,’ offering their signature ‘big wings’ for $2 and house draught for $5 during daily happy hours.
