NOW OPEN: CycleBar Adelaide rides into SA for first time

The popular cycling cardio venue CycleBar has finally landed in Adelaide making it the 7th one in Australia.

Adelaide, get ready to revolutionise your fitness routine as CycleBar, the renowned cycling studio, makes its grand debut in South Australia this Thursday the 9th of November. The high-end cycling studio will have a unique blend of high-energy workouts, motivating instructors, and a supportive community.

Since its inception in America in 2004 and its subsequent Australian expansion two years ago, CycleBar has garnered a massive following for its dynamic and immersive workout classes. These classes have consistently sold out across the country, and the new Adelaide studio is poised to enjoy the same level of popularity.

“It originated in the US and now has over 300 clubs there and the Adelaide venue will be the 7th in Australia. The amount of people that have been hoping that’s it’s been coming here has been overwhelming,” James, a representative of CycleBar, tells Glam Adelaide.

CycleBar aims to provide a haven where individuals can come alive, immerse themselves in the moment, and partake in world-class training within a fun, safe, and encouraging atmosphere.

“CycleBar is something different to what’s already here in Adelaide and we want it to have a great community vibe. It’s suitable for absolutely everyone no matter your experience with cycling,” James says.

The studio prioritises fostering a sense of community, where guests can escape from the daily grind and find comfort in the camaraderie of like-minded fitness enthusiasts.

In Adelaide, fitness aficionados can look forward to a team of experienced educators, coaches, DJs, and motivators who will guide them through invigorating cycling sessions in the brand-new studio.

The CycleBeats proprietary playlist database promises heart-pumping, mood-elevating music that will accompany every exhilarating ride.

CycleBar Adelaide will offer an array of classes to cater to diverse preferences. From “Connect” classes that transform the studio into a sanctuary by immersing riders in beats with the monitors turned off to “XPress” classes, which are interval-packed, rhythm-based sessions designed to keep participants engaged throughout the 30-minute duration, there’s something for everyone.

James emphasised the inclusivity of CycleBar, welcoming individuals of all fitness levels, from beginners to seasoned cyclists. The studio provides everything needed for the workout, including towels and shoes, making it hassle-free for attendees.

CycleBar’s workouts are centered around rhythm riding, akin to cardio on a bike with the added dimension of a leaderboard for those who enjoy challenges.

Instructors guide participants through a combination of choreography and motivation, ensuring a well-rounded experience that not only focuses on cardiovascular fitness but also strength.

It’s reflected in the name, “CycleBar”, James tells us. The bike itself comes fit with a bar that you can use for strength work throughout the class.

When asked about the choice of location, James highlighted the central position of Adelaide’s CBD, making it easily accessible for city workers seeking pre-work or lunchtime workouts. The project has been in the works for around 12 months, and the response from Adelaide’s fitness community has been overwhelmingly positive.

While the first round of classes have already booked out due to popularity, you can secure your spot for upcoming classes here.
