If you’re a fan of Lululemon you’ll be excited to hear that the new mega store has just opened its doors in Rundle Mall.
The store that was already located in Rundle Mall has relocated only meters away, and its now increased in size to become their biggest store in South Australia.
Situated on the corner of Rundle Place, facing their previous location, the store features 9 roomy changing rooms and plenty of stock in their signature ranges for the ultimate shopping experience.
This new store has come not long after their third store opened at end of last year in SA’s largest shopping centre, Westfield Marion.
The popular chain also has a store in Burnside, however, none are as grand as the new Rundle Mall location.
The 381sqm store is home to all men’s and women’s products, including the core On The Move, Yoga, Run and Train ranges, as well as the new ‘Play’ category, which currently includes new products for golf, tennis and hiking.
The Canadian multinational retailer was founded in 1998 and has developed a reputation for its leggings, yoga pants (a product that the brand allegedly created), yoga mats, and various accessories.
Lululemon athletica first entered the Australian market in 2004 and now boasts over 30 stores across Australia and New Zealand.
Initially made of a mix of nylon and lycra, yoga pants have evolved into everyday clothing, hence the birth of the term “athleisure”.
Fast-forward to today and the multi-billion dollar empire has set its sights on doubling its 2021 revenue of $6.25 billion to $12.5 billion by 2026.
