Husik Dessert House has officially sweetened up Adelaide’s Chinatown with the opening of its permanent location on Grote Street. Known for their delicious range of Asian-inspired desserts, Husik has quickly won over Adelaide’s sweet-toothed crowd with its late-night offerings including the wobbly Tosuni Bunny Pudding, refreshing shaved ice Bingsu, and the Moffle Korean Late Night Dessert.
Fans of Husik Dessert House will remember their incredibly popular pop-up in Goodwood, which wrapped up on April 6th. After the search for a new home, the wait is finally over, with the team unveiling their chic new space in the city, where they’ll be serving up even more of the irresistible treats that made them a local sensation.
Among the desserts to look forward to is their Tosuni Bunny Milk Pudding – a fascinating, jiggly dessert that has captured hearts of desserts lovers with its super cute appearance. Husik will also be introducing new boba themed Moffles topped with pearls, salted cream cheese and an oolong tea sauce.
For those who are looking for vegan options, Husik has just launched a refreshing Vegan Lychee Bingsu. This treat is made with a soy-based lychee bingsu, topped with lemon sorbet, freeze-dried strawberries, fresh lychee, and lychee popping pearls. They use Bonsoy soy milk to create a creamy and smooth texture.
Husik now offers takeaway for their bingsu, moffles, coffee, and a variety of drinks, so you can take their treats home and enjoy a sweet movie night with friends. They’re partnering with Altura Coffee Roasters to bring a coffee experience that perfectly compliments their delicious dessert lineup. Co-Owner Jeni has also mentioned she is really keen to serve coffee at night, perfect for those who are studying that need to pull a few all-nighters.
Among their new drink offerings is the beverage that is taking the world by storm right now… a strawberry matcha. Called the “Like You Berry Matcha”, it’s a blend of homemade strawberry and raspberry puree with matcha.
Owned by a trio of passionate hospitality professionals, and the team behind Hello Stranger cafe, Jeni Cheung and sisters HaeAh Lee and JinAh Lee have turned this long-time dream into a reality. They are really excitement to have secured a location in an area as lively as Chinatown.
