Adelaide’s iconic Chinese restaurant T-Chow has unveiled its grand transformation, with the entire venue receiving a complete revamp, which includes a host of exciting upgrades and interior enhancements.
Situated in the heart of Chinatown on Moonta Street, this beloved eatery has captured the hearts and palates of locals for over 25 years, offering an authentic taste of China at affordable prices.
The renovations at T-Chow have introduced three brand-new private dining areas which provide an intimate and exclusive setting, perfect for family gatherings, work events, or special occasions.
The new spaces include two VIP rooms which cater to 30 guests each, along with an exclusive VVIP chamber for 15 esteemed guests.
Not only that, the primary dining arena has also been uplifted, offering an enhanced sense of ambiance and comfort. Boasting a bright, light interior, there is plenty of space for people to relax and feast on authentic Chinese cuisine to their heart’s content.
A new bar also takes pride of place along the back wall, where staff can pour you a wine, grab you a beer, or mix up a delicious cocktail.

One of the most exciting features of the renovation is the flexibility of the private dining rooms. The two VIP rooms can merge to create a larger private dining area for up to 60 guests, offering an ideal space for larger groups.
The VVIP area is nothing short of classy, with a black tiger-printed wallpaper and large round dining table taking centre stage.

All of the private dining rooms can also be opened up to the entire restaurant, accomodating an impressive 250 seated patrons. This unique feature positions T-Chow as an excellent choice for grand events and celebrations, at a potentially more affordable price per-head than other function spaces in the CBD
Renowned for its unpretentious simple and elegant decor that allows the dishes to take centre stage, the restaurant has cemented its place as a true icon within Adelaide’s vibrant culinary scene.
Having stood the test of time and continually offering spectacular meals, T-Chow decided to take the bold step towards rejuvenation. Patrons can be reassured that despite the fresh changes, the heart and soul of T-Chow they have come to love remains intact- just with a refreshed ambiance and integrated into a modern setting, which is now more in line with the demands of contemporary dining, events, and functions.
To bring their renovation vision to life, T-Chow partnered with Square Construction Group as the builder and Gary Fong from Wabi Design Studio. Thanks to Square Construction’s commitment to high standards of craftsmanship and Gary’s expertise in creating functional yet aesthetically pleasing spaces, T-Chow has been transformed into a beautiful and seamless dining haven.
