NOW OPEN: New patisserie and cocktail bar, This Little Piggy, introduces champagne high teas to Adelaide Airport

First of its kind and especially designed for Adelaide Airport, This Little Piggy promises to be a great choice for a sneaky light brunch or sweet treat before jetting off to your next holiday destination.

Exclusive to Adelaide Airport, there’s now a new aesthetically pleasing venue that will make you wish it was gin o’ clock all day. Introducing This Little Piggy: a patisserie and Gin bar that aims to transport travellers’ taste buds to Adelaide’s thriving Central Market.

By day, This Little Piggy is a Central Market inspired brunch & coffee hideaway – a warm and inviting space showcasing some of Adelaide’s favourite local brands, such as Providore, Maggie Beer, Willunga Fine Foods, SOHO Adelaide coffee roasters, From the Wild raw desserts, and Skala Bakery.

By night, This Little Piggy transforms into vibrant cocktail & small batch gin bar specialising in local signature labels. Drawing inspiration from small batch gin speakeasys like Clever Little Tailor and The Howling Owl, This Little Piggy will be pouring artisanal drops like 23rd Street, Applewood, Kangaroo Island Spirits, Imperial Measures, Prohibition Liquor Co, and Ambleside.

Global food service and hospitality company, Delaware North – the organisation responsible for Coopers Alehouse – opened This Little Piggy in late November 2022. Delaware Food & Beverage Ops Manager, Heather Mansfield, says the new brunch-turn-gin-bar will offer something completely new to travellers moving in and out of the airport.

“TLP is a new style of venue in Adelaide Airport, targeting a more personal service experience in a cosy & inviting environment. It’ll be a spot to slow down and relax before jumping on that plane,” says Heather.

“Keep your eyes out for our high tea with champagne, Devonshire tea plates and seasonal new trend cocktails. There will also be gin tasting with the local distillers scheduled each month to promote the quality of Adelaide makers.”

The This Little Piggy high tea screams “cottage vibes”, displayed on adorable tiered cake stands, made with vintage plates. Salmon sandwiches, freshly baked scones, pumpkin quiche slices and sweet treats all feature in the high tea, which is best shared with friends and experienced with bubbles. We can’t think of a better way to kickstart a girls’ weekend.

For something more substantial, the onsite culinary team also prepares small tapas style meals using locally sourced ingredients, such as kingfish ceviche and baked double brie.

This Little Piggy is open from 4:00am every day, located on level 2, on the left just after you pass through security.
