RSPCA South Australia’s have opened their 16th Op Shop today, this time in Mawson Lakes!
Luxury fashion items that have been generously donated to aid rescued animals, will grace the shelves of the new store. But the best part? It all comes with affordable price tags.
To mark the grand opening of this boutique, attendees can enjoy complimentary face painting, indulgent coffee and hot chocolate, live music, and the lively presence of SAFM’s Black Thunder team from 11am to 1pm, offering exciting giveaways and engaging activities. The store is also offering a a delightful 20% discount across the entire store to mark the occasion!
Loredana Franze, leading RSPCA SA’s Retail and Commercial operations, expresses gratitude for the early support from the local community, affirming the decision to establish a presence in the lakeside district.
“We really want to have a presence in Adelaide’s north and Mawson Lakes, with its university, outdoor spaces that are so popular for dog walking and family-friendly vibe, is the perfect fit for one of our boutique stores,” Loredana said.
“When we put the donation bin out for the first time this week, it was full within an hour – people here are just so keen to support our work and we’ve had many telling us how happy they are to see this store join the mix of retail outlets.
“For people on a budget, like many uni students are, this store will offer the chance to dress well and affordably in some of the latest trend clothing items donated to us each week.
“It’s high fashion with compassion, with that warm feeling of knowing that funds are going towards RSPCA’s
care and rescue of vulnerable animals.”
