Winter’s favourite warmer now has a new Nutella-flavoured twist, and people are going nuts for it!
Popular Rose Park spot the Commissary has added Nutella hot chocolate to their secret menu, and you can get it all winter long.
The sought-after beverage is hot chocolate with a Nutella and hazelnut-rolled rim and Nutella-steamed milk. The rim looks absolutely delicious, and the drink is topped with chocolate dust to finish it off.
“Hot chocolate hasn’t evolved much over the years, and everyone loves Nutella, so I decided to combine the two,” Commissary’s manager and owner, Priscilla Milky, says.
“This is the first year we’ve had it as a secret menu item, and it’s going crazy!”
Milky is well aware of how well her surname suits her profession; Known by customers as the “queen of dessert,” the owner and her team have created many cream and Nutella-laden treats, ranging from Caramilk cheesecake spring rolls to Nutella espresso martinis.
The brunch and lunch venue also has savoury treats, of course, offering salads, burgers, and avocado toast.
