Off the Beaten Path: Pultney Street’s Newest Bar

Adelaide’s newest venue is sexy-meets-dive bar, where there’s a dedicated focus on having a really good time.

There’s no denying the bar scene in Adelaide has hit a major growth spurt and the crowds are-a flocking amirite?! But man, sometimes you’re just looking for something off the beaten path. Nothing too fancy-shamncy. Maybe your wallet’s tired of living the high life cause drinks ain’t cheap. Or maybe you just can’t listen to another Top 50 hit. We can’t say for sure. But we’ve got a pretty sweet remedy lined up for all you cool cats ready to get down and dirty.

We introduce you to, The Muse Bar. We’re talking sexy-meets-dive bar where there’s a dedicated focus on having a really good time. Decked out with local artwork, the space will double as a creative hub for SA artists. The Muse are also passionate in their support for local South Aussie booze and food. Heaps good.

They’re holding their cards close when it comes to revealing the cocktail list but we’ve been assured it’s nothing like Adelaide’s seen before. Each cocktail is set to be unique to The Muse, utilizing weird and wonderful flavours (hint: aloe vera), minus the price tag. Owner Bek’s self-confessed love for a Bloody Mary has even inspired its reinvention into the Bloody Frida. But you’ll have to wait to get a taste of this bad boy.

Just like a piece of artwork, it’s a work in progress. The official public open date is yet to be set. We’ll keep you posted but give them a thumbs up on Facebook to stay in the loop.

You can’t miss The Muse Bar, just keep an eye out for the rad mural.
