The Hilton Adelaide once again is the host hotel for the Santos Tour Down Under and, Charlies Bar is the “Official Santos Tour Down Under Bar”.

Host Hotel
Since the beginning of the Tour Down Under, which started in 1999, Hilton Adelaide has been the official host hotel of the Santos Tour Down Under.
From early January, the world’s cycling stars, media and the cycling fraternity will converge and transform the Hilton Adelaide into the cycling centre of Australia.
The Hilton Adelaide is the place to see the stars of cycling in a relaxed atmosphere, whether it is in the Brasserie, which serves seriously South Australian cuisine, or Lobby Lounge and Charlie’s Bar.
Some facts about the hotel during the tour:
- Approximately 350 people call Hilton Adelaide home during the tour including; all the cycling teams, TDU/Events SA Staff, Local, National and International Media.
- We will serve 9342 meals
- 1400kg of protein
- 6000 eggs
- 3800kg of carbohydrates
- 3000 bananas
- 10,000 bottles of OJ
- Extra 150 espressos per day served from the Deli
(Plus you can catch some of the cyclists often chilling out in the Lobby Lounge in the evenings)
