For those who are fans of all things spooky and macabre, this one’s for you.
This November, there will be a psychic fair taking place in the Old Adelaide Gaol. That’s right, you will be able to experience the wonders of psychics, mediums and more from the chilling halls of Adelaide’s former prison, which rumour has it is one of the city’s most haunted locations.
After missing out on hosting the fair in 2020 due to the restrictions of the pandemic, the Old Adelaide Gaol Psychic Fair, which is hosted in conjunction with Northern Psychic Fair and Ghost Crime Tours, is set to be a big one.
Taking place on Saturday November 27, this day-long event will feature a whole host of amazing activities and stalls, from psychic readings, healers, alternative medicine, as well as incredible jewellery, artwork and crystals. There will also be live music, face painting and food offerings, so its the perfect event to take your kids to, only if they have the guts to spend some time in a spooky gaol!
For those of you who haven’t visited the Old Adelaide Gaol, it was a fully functioning gaol operating between 1841 and 1988, with many of the gaol’s old features preserved to this day. Plenty of interesting things have happened in the old gaol, so it is a great place to visit if you are enthusiastic about history, crime, or just like a creepy atmosphere.
Doors open at 10am and close at 6pm, and tickets will set you back only $7.
