Iconic Adelaide jewellers Andrew Mazzone Design Jewellers are celebrating a milestone 60 years of crafting beautiful jewellery for Adelaide’s greatest love stories, from their central Pulteney Street location.
The leading engagement and wedding ring designer in South Australia, the store was even named ‘Adelaide’s Best Jeweller’ in 2011, after Andrew followed in his father Quinto’s footsteps, creating stunning one-of-a-kind jewellery pieces unique to each customer.
“I used to sit and watch my father on his bench handcrafting jewellery for hours,” says Andrew.
“The joy and satisfaction it gave him was mesmerising. I knew then I wanted to continue the family business but also update it with my own fresh ideas.”
As a teenager, Andrew could be found working as an apprentice in the first Mazzone store, which was opened in 1960, and has continued to make his mark on the jewellery industry since then, moving his store location to the CBD in 1984.
“Engagement and wedding rings are extremely personal,” says Andrew.
“You wear them every day for the rest of your life, and it’s a privilege to be a part of our customer’s love stories, by doing what I love daily”.
Andrew and the Mazzone team’s dedicated process guides each customer through their jewellery design journey, combining precious metals with high quality craftsmanship, which add significant years to the life of each bespoke piece.
“We’ll guide you through the process from start to finish to make your dream ring a reality,” says Andrew.
“From our designers’ hand-sketched interpretations, to our gemmologist’s hand-selected best cut diamond, everything we do is designed around our customers”.
